Colleges Catering to Special Needs Applicants
For Visually Impaired Applicants:
The following three colleges offer study facilities and support services for visually impaired students:
- N.J. Ahmadiyya College of Education, Wa
- Wesley College of Education, Kumasi
- Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong
For Hearing Impaired Applicants:
The Presbyterian College of Education, Akropong, provides study facilities and support services for hearing impaired students.
Admission Requirements for Applicants
The admission requirements for both the Visually and Hearing Impaired applicants are as follows:
For WASSCE results: Obtain Credit Passes (A1-C6) in Two (2)
CORE subjects, including English Language and Social Studies, and Three (3)
credit passes in relevant elective subjects.
For SSSCE results: Obtain Credit Passes (A-D) in Two (2)
CORE subjects, including English Language and Social Studies, and credit passes
in Three (3) relevant elective subjects.
How to Apply for Admission
To get started, you need to purchase the admission form at a non-refundable fee into the Colleges of Education, Ghana Account at any Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) Limited branch. You can also pay via mobile money (Tigo Cash, Vodafone Cash, Airtel Money, MTN Mobile Money) by dialing *924*8#.
Upon payment, obtain the Personal Identification Number
(PIN), Admission Application Serial Number, and the admission website address
(admission.coeportal.edu.gh).
Use the PIN to visit the website and follow the guidelines
to fill out the online application form, selecting your preferred college and
program.
Print a copy of the completed form, attach one passport
photograph and copies of your results slips (if available).
Send the application package via EMS priority envelope to
the Principal of your first college choice.
Please Note:
Applicants will receive admission offer notifications via
SMS. If no notification is received, it means the application was unsuccessful.
Submitting fake or falsified documents will lead to legal
consequences.
